The veteran forward ended his six year spell with the club on a sour note where he hinted that he had to stop training with the rest of the team before he left.
“Those days were very difficult. I cried because of what I was having to go through,” said Suarez, 33.
“I was hurt most of all by the way they did things, because one has to accept it when a cycle comes to an end.”
Suarez left Liverpool for Barcelona in a £74 million deal 6 years ago, amassing 198 goals to become the club’s third Highest goal scorer.
During his spell, he won 4 la liga’s, the champions League and 5 domestic cups.
