Nigerians in doubt over alleged Prison break by protesters

Xclusivegospel gathered that protesters along the benin-Sapele road had broken into the Prison at Sapele road and freed the prisoners.

Videos circulating all of social media showed suspected prisoners fleeing through the fence as protesters cheered on.

In other parts of the town, protesters allegedly attacked Ugbekun Police Station, Oba Market Police Station and Idogbo Police Post.

Popular tv presenter, Bolanle Okukanni debunked the idea. “We are not breaking the law ! Any narrative about jailbreak is a lie. They aren’t part of us #EndSARS”. She tweeted.

“Abeg who did the costuming for the Benin prison break movie? I like ask the person question #EndSars remains a peaceful protest! We stay focused!”. Actress Omoni oboli tweeted.

Nigerian blogger and columnist at Punch, J.J Omojuwa had this to say, “I find it worrying that you only need “thugs” to free prisoners in Nigeria. It is an indictment on everyone involved with prison administration and safety in the country. #ENDSARS”.
