Police fire live ammunition at Protesters in Abuja

Protests against Police Brutality and the call to End SARS were put to an end in Abuja as police sprayed tear gas and fired live ammunition at Protesters. 

No major injuries or deaths were reported following the response from the Police.

Protesters vowed to get back on the streets again tomorrow to continue the march.

Several other protests have taken place across Nigeria, including Lagos.

The filmed protest and hashtags have caught the international community with Star Wars actor John Boyega among the celebrities supporting the protesters.

The hashtag #EndSARS was trending worldwide on Twitter on Friday with celebrities including the Nigerian superstars Wizkid and Davido tweeting their support for protesters.

The protest were kicked off following the filmed attack and death of a Nigerian in the hands of SARS official at Ughelli, Delta state.
